Fish Net is part of the Chalets at the Lake rental properties, and is an entire space dedicated to each individual guests. Although there are neighboring chalets, Fish Net offers plenty of privacy and individual comfort.
Located on 20 acres of semi secluded West Virginia wilderness. This distinctive A-frame cabin in the chalet style is perfect for the wooded environment of the Gauley River National Recreation Area. Fish Net includes a private deck, sleeping loft, master bedroom, full bathroom, living room, full kitchen and dinette area. Free WiFi, smart TV, gas heat, air-conditioning, gas grill, outdoor fire ring, outdoor chairs, picnic table, and 5 person hot tub also included.
With a short drive, our guests can enjoy a multitude of outdoor recreation; including the New River George National Park and Summersville Lake.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
Reservations can be cancelled a full 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, with a cancellation fee of $25.00. Cancellations within 15 days or less of the scheduled arrival date will be refunded 50% of deposit. Cancellations within 7 days or less of the scheduled arrival date will not be refunded for any reason. All cancellations must be made through the website or email communication.
Deposit Policy
To confirm a reservation Chalets at the Lake requires a deposit of 50% to paid at the time the dates are secured. The deposit goes toward the reservation total. Taxes and fees will be added to the rental amount. Payment in full is required 15 days prior to check in date. Chalets at the Lake will automatically charge the balance due to the original card on file 15 days prior to the check in date. Reservations made within 7 days of the check in date will be paid in full at the time the reservation is made.

Michael was very helpful and responsive. We had plenty of towels, dishes, and bedding. You have some neighbors in other cabins but the location itself is pretty secluded which is good if that’s what you want.

We had a great time at Fish Net! It was the cutest little cabin. Very cozy and we felt just like home. Had everything we needed and more. The place was very clean and taken care of. Not much to do in the area because of the off season, but it’s a great place for a weekend getaway. We will definitely be back!

The chalet was beautiful and just as pictured! Michael was helpful and always quick to respond. At one point, we were having some difficulties working the heater/fireplace, and within just a couple minutes someone was over to show us how to use it. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway!!

Stayed here for a couple nights to explore the New River Gorge. The chalet was lovely! Clean and well supplied, close to everything, but still with plenty of privacy. And the hot tub was amazing. Michael was helpful and friendly, and I had an wonderful stay.

This was a great cabin for a cozy weekend getaway. The space had everything you need- we enjoyed cooking, the tv had Netflix/Hulu/Amazon prime access for movies at night, and the hot tub was great! This is a great location if you are looking to spend the day hiking in the new river gorge national park- it is 20-25 min away. Overall we had a great stay! Michael was a great host, if you have any problems or questions he responds right away and is extremely helpful.

We enjoyed our long weekend in this cabin. The furniture and appliances are all new and convenient, and we particularly appreciated the few extras, like the hot tub, gas grill and fire pit. The description of amenities is accurate, I suggest to read it carefully to know how to prepare. The chalet is surrounded by beautiful trees, and it felt private even with the other houses nearby. Michael is a friendly and responsive host, who is available if you need anything.

Overall, great time! Loved the cabin and the hot tub. Did not get to test out fire pit. The communication was great. The power did go out, but the heat still worked and the owner did do a partial reimbursement for that which was appreciated.
There were utensils, coffee pot, and microwave but little things (wine opener, bottle opener, condiments) were not available. Not a big deal, just good to know to bring it with you. Cute, cozy, and clean. I hope to come back at some point!
