Very responsive!

We had a great time at Michael’s place. It was a perfect stop on our spring break trip!

Hot tub was ready for us. good place to get away from it all for a bit. place was very clean and tidy. Could use some updates in places but overall way better than a hotel.

Nice, clean, cozy cabin

We had a great night’s stay to break up our long road trip. Michael was super responsive to our last-minute booking and request. It was peaceful, beautiful, and we loved the hot tub!

Had to find a quick stop-over for a road trip from Buffalo to Charlotte and this was the perfect stop. Very cool chalet with firepit and hot tub ready to use on arrival. Can’t beat that !

The cabin overall is was nice but did need some improvements. The bed was nice but was very uncomfortable. When trying to shower you only have hot water for a couple minutes before the shower turns cold. The front porch is small and in need of some updating. The inside is nice but does need some improvements.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was perfect! So clean and had everything we needed! The hot tub was so nice after the day of hiking! The location felt so private and peaceful! The location was great as it was easy to get to lots of places! We can’t wait to visit again!!!

Location was perfect for exploring the Gauley and the New River Gorge National Park! We had a little trouble with one of the heaters but Michael was very responsive and got it working quickly. Over all the cabin was really clean and a great place to stay!

This was a nice little getaway. The hot tub was very clean and private. The cabin was very clean as well. If I’m knit picking, I will say the cabin had a very strong cleaner smell when we first got there, so I had to leave the doors open to let it air out a bit, also, there was no light outside where the hot tub was. Overall we had a great time.

Great place to stay. Cozy and clean!

My husband and I had a great time at On the Rocks. It was private, even with the other chalets in close proximity. The inside of the chalet was super clean and felt very cozy. The hot tub was wonderful. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was a little springy but we were still able to get a good nights sleep. The gas heaters kept it nice and warm inside. The host was very responsive and kind. We would most certainly stay again!

The cabin was beautiful, and perfect for a girls weekend in the woods. Michael was super friendly and responsive whenever we needed him. We were within 20 minutes of anything that we could need or want. Only complaint is that the photos of the view on the listing are not the views from the cabin. Would totally do this again next year.

Great little night away in a quiet environment !

This was a nice place for an overnight. The space and hot tub were well kept up. Upon arrival the main furnace was not working however Michael responded immidiately and had it replaced with a fully functioning heater within an hour.

Cute, cozy cabin stay near Summersville lake! My friends and I enjoyed the cabin set up, especially the hot tub with a fire ring out back! Would book again.

Was meeting my husband for Thanksgiving as he works in the area. The cabin was great for us two, our 2 year old & a friend. It was clean, had everything in the kitchen and clean linens and towels. The hot-tub was our favorite part, super clean & warm! Wonderful stay!

Solid place for a family. Very close to new river gorge, and the lake is gorgeous!

My boyfriend and I booked the cabin with Michael for a weekend getaway and we loved it! The cabin was very clean and in a good location. We found a lot to do around the town. We enjoyed the hot tub as well! We would love to go back in the summertime.

Great time staying here! Amazing views on the drive in and only 5 mins away from the property. This stay could not have been more peaceful and enjoyable. Would recommend to anybody looking for a quiet relaxing weekend.

Cozy little cabin home.

The cabin was in a beautiful location, surrounded by beautiful woods. The gorgeous fall leaves were amazing to wake up to. We were worried it wouldn’t feel secluded, but we never even noticed the other cabins. The hot tub was facing towards the woods with privacy fencing on both sides, so it was very private. The cabin was very clean and we were provided with everything we needed for the weekend. I was impressed with how clean the hot tub was specifically. The only issue I had was that the bed on the main floor was pretty uncomfortable, I have back problems so sleeping was a bit rough for me. But otherwise we really enjoyed our stay!

Such a cute chalet! Perfect fall weather, beautiful area! The chalet was extremely clean and had everything - didn't have to bring anything but our selves! Michael answered all phone calls and texts, didn't have to worry about being ghosted. Lovely weekend at the chalet overall 🙂

Ok place for one night.

My family and I absolutely loved this place! The location was so close to so many beautiful sights and The Summerville lake was only a few minutes away! We also stopped by a cute coffee shop called the Appalachian and it was only 9 minutes away!
The place was clean and had a cute little private area for the hot tub! Michael was very responsive and sent me all the instructions I needed the day of check in! Including a little map just in case we got confused or lost! We are already planning a trip to visit for next year! Will be back ?

On The Rocks was beautifully simple and in a quiet rental community. The cabin was clean and comfortable, well appointed with all needed items and reasonable close to a grocery store to prepare a home cooked meal. Kitchen was fully stocked, bathroom well stocked with lots of towels, hot tub was in great shape and hot, internet was fast and reliable. We will definitely return to stay here when we have more time to stay days in a row. And the history of the area and surroundings were well described and represented. Lots to see, do, and learn!

In town for a short stay, this place was great! Was nice to get to soak in the hot tub after a long day of driving.

The place was wonderful, really worth staying here. There’s lots to do, and really close to kayak/boat rentals. The host provides all the info you need for the area. Extremely professional and responsive. Really was amazed how clean everything was, and had no problems while we were there.

Great chalet in the middle of the forst with close proximity to the lake.

We loved the hot tub and comfortable beds.

This Airbnb was the perfect getaway. Owner was very responsive and helpful! The cabin was beautiful and very well taken care of. The hot tub was so sparkly clean! I was impressed. The combo door lock was super convenient! We will definitely book with them again!!

It was wonderful to stay at this cabin - instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cabin was clean and nicely appointed and we had a very relaxing evening!

I can sit here and write a few paragraphs long but I’ll keep it short and simple. It was Phenomenal. I highly recommend the cabin on the rocks. The cabin, the host and the surrounding areas were more than I expected.

Michael was a great host! The property was exactly as described and he was accommodating/flexible with our check-in time. He was responsive during our stay and friendly as well. He went above and beyond to make our stay great!

Easily one of the nicest cabins I’ve stayed at. Hot tub was great. Clean big cabin. We hiked all day at New River Gorge and chilled at the cabin in the evening. It’s about 25 minutes away from Fayetteville, but it’s an easy straight shot drive. Highly recommend!!

Great deal, hot tub was amazing. Cabin was clean and private for a small lot. Felt at home and had a great sleep. Beds were not the most comfortable but that was my only complaint! Would recommend to others and I will be returning!

Clean and good location

Micheal was really responsible, we had an issue in our cabin and he showed up in 30 minutes.

It is a great cabin - great location and nice private outdoor hot-tub. but I would not suggest to make foods inside. I think It will make your stay easier.

It was typical cabin problems but the place was overall wonderful.

I was only there for one night which I was bummed about! It felt like the perfect place for a long weekend of rest.

Michael was an amazing host! When we got there the shower wouldn’t drain because it was so cold outside the pipes froze. He came as soon as possible and defrosted the pipes within minutes. The cabin was so beautiful and peaceful. I will definitely be going back!

This cabin was a much needed getaway for a couple of days. It was beautiful and it snowed while we were there! (we don’t get snow at home) It had everything we needed to be snowed in for a couple of days including a fantastic hot tub!

Very clean pretty quite and close to a lot!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin very much. The hot tub was wonderful on a chilly December evening, with a view of the stars. Everything was very clean and the cabin was cozy and decorated nicely for the surroundings.

We loved staying in the cabin! Honestly, I thought it was kind of difficult to find in the dark, and Michael’s map wasn’t super helpful. However, all the cabins have names which was super helpful! Either way, great cabin and we would definitely stay again.

Great location. Very clean. Needs new mattresses

The cabin was perfect for my family of five (all adults, some seniors). We only stayed for a night, but we had a blast! The hot tub and the grill were a big hit. We had a small issue with the TV, but the cell service was pretty good so we just listened to music instead. We went to the nearby overlook at Summersville Lake the morning of check out, around 9:30am. It was quite chilly, but the view of the fog on the water was breathtaking. In terms of sightseeing opportunities, Canyon Rim Visitor Center is close by and worth a visit to see the enormous bridge at New River Gorge! We also saw some incredible fall foliage on our way to Sandstone Falls, which has several overlook areas as you descend the mountain. We made some great memories this weekend!

This is a cool little cabin that’s perfect for two couples or a small family. The loft bedroom is accessible by ladder so it’s best for older kids or adults that don’t have mobility issues. The main floor bedroom leads right out to the hot tub which was very convenient. The hot tub is perfect for four adults. The fire pit area has a nice picnic table and plenty of chairs. There’s also a boat parking area as you first come on the property. The property manager (Michael) was a fantastic communicator. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin. Not very secluded but I would definitely suggest a stay.

Check in was simple, the place was clean. This location is simple, but very clean and had the necessities. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. Wood was provided for fire pit but we didn’t have time to use. Location was good for going to the lake, trails or getting to all the attractions. The neighbors are quiet.
Michael was responsive.
There is full:queen downstairs and a full up in the loft. Need to be agile to climb up there. :). Futon down stairs in living room.

This place is nestled in the woods but only 1 min off the paved road so it’s easy to get there. It’s closer to Summerville Lake Dame , Lighthouse and campground than to the Marina. There are two restaurants close by but both were too crowded. Other restaurants are more than 15 min away. Simple cabin as you would expect in the woods. Cute loft space. Nice host, very responsive.

Michael was a great host very communicative, the power was out our first night to due a bad storm and he could not have handled the situation any better. Place was as described and perfect for guys rafting weekend, will/would absolutely stay again

What a perfect Mother’s Day getaway! The A frame was your basic little cabin with a hot tub. It was very peaceful and serene- exactly what we hoped for. Great location for hiking and enjoying the lake.
